Dallas Mavericks center Samuel Dalembert has said that his side's 103-100 win over the Sacramento Kings on Saturday night was "huge" as they go in search of a playoff place this season.
The Mavericks edged out the encounter thanks to six players who managed to get into double figures, with Dirk Nowitzki leading the way with 19 points for his side.
"It's huge, every single game counts. We're trying to fight for a playoff spot," Dalembert told reporters.
"We've got to push it, we've got to control what we can control. We have to go out every night and fight, try to get anything we can get and see if we can get that second chance."
The win sees the Mavericks sitting in fourth position in the Southwest Division with a record of 44-30 for the season.
