Frank Vogel has admitted that the Indiana Pacers "fell short" during their defeat to the New York Knicks.
The Eastern Conference leaders fought back from a 12-point deficit at half time, but were unable to edge ahead late on, losing 92-86.
The coach told reporters: "In the first half we tried to do it ourselves and only had two assists. In the second half we played much better. Shared the basketball better, we screened better, but we fell short."
The Pacers face the Chicago Bulls tomorrow.
