Donald Sterling has reportedly said that he will not sell the Los Angeles Clippers, despite being handed a lifetime ban by the NBA.
Commissioner Adam Silver said that he will be looking to force the sale of the franchise after the 80-year-old was allegedly recorded making racist comments, including asking his girlfriend not to bring black people to their games.
According to Fox News, Sterling said shortly before the league announced his punishment that the team is not for sale.
Boxers Floyd Mayweather Jr and Oscar de la Hoya have expressed an interest in launching a joint bid for the team, while music mogul David Geffen is also said to be keen to purchase the side.
