Film producer Spike Lee has revealed that Miami Heat star Ray Allen will wear a "J.Shuttlesworth" jersey on January 21 against the Boston Celtics as part of the NBA's special nickname range.
The name is a reference to Jesus Shuttlesworth, Allen's character in Lee's 1998 movie He Got Game.
The Heat and the Brooklyn Nets also have the jerseys planned for this season and will wear them on March 12 and April 8.
Amongst others in the lineup, LeBron James will have "King James" on the back of his jersey, Paul Pierce will have "The Truth" while Jason Terry will have "Jet".
