Miami Heat star LeBron James is understood to want no less than the maximum salary number for next season, whether that is with Miami or not.
The two-time NBA champion opted out of his contract last weekend but is expected to re-sign with the Heat having spoken with Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh.
In 2010, James accepted a pay cut when he signed with the Heat, but while he isn't scheduling any meetings with other teams, he is not interested in taking another cut, ESPN reports.
In turn, that will likely put pressure on both Wade and Bosh to take pay cuts in order to give the Heat some salary cap space to acquire solid role players.
