The Indiana Pacers overturned a 25-point deficit in the second quarter to beat the Detroit Pistons in overtime in the NBA.

Josh Smith got the home side off to a bright start but Paul George brought the Eastern Conference leaders back into the meeting, while David West added six of his 15 points in overtime to help secure the win.

The New York Knicks continued their best run of the season, beating the Milwaukee Bucks for their sixth win in a row.

The home side looked in control from the start, taking an 18-point lead into the break as Carmelo Anthony and Tim Hardaway Jr combined for 43 points.

A strong finish ensured that the Chicago Bulls claimed their third victory in their last four games with success over the Sacramento Kings.

The Philadelphia 76ers slipped to their 20th defeat in a row as they were thrashed by the Memphis Grizzlies.

The Sixers scored their lowest points total of the season as they tied the franchise record for most consecutive losses, despite Michael Carter-Williams scoring 23 points.

The Atlanta Hawks' resurgence continued with a win over the Denver Nuggets at the Philips Arena.

The visitors came back from a 21-point deficit in the third quarter, but Paul Millsap and Jeff Teague ensured that the Hawks held on for their third straight victory.
