Amar'e Stoudemire: "I'm not injured"

New York Knicks power forward Amar'e Stoudemire says that he is not injured, despite his head coach telling reporters that he is suffering from a swollen knee.

Amar'e Stoudemire has insisted that his absence from the New York Knicks' team is not down to injury.

Head coach Mike Woodson had said that the power forward would be sidelined for "a while" after experiencing swelling in his surgically-repaired knee.

However, the 31-year-old told his Twitter followers:


Stoudemire has averaged 7.7 points per game so far this season.
