Russell Westbrook: 'NBA scoring title means nothing'

Russell Westbrook reveals that winning the scoring title means nothing to him after the Oklahoma City Thunder missed out on the playoffs.

Oklahoma City Thunder star Russell Westbrook won the NBA scoring title on Wednesday night, but revealed that it meant nothing to him.

Westbrook finished the regular season with an average of 28.1 points per game, with James Harden finishing in second place with a 27.4 points average.

However, with the Thunder missing out on the playoffs, their explosive point guard revealed that the title meant little to him in the bigger picture.

"It doesn't mean nothing. Good job. Hooray. I'm at home. Watching other teams play. Doesn't mean nothing," he said, according to ESPN.

With the New Orleans Pelicans beating the San Antonio Spurs, the Thunder were eliminated due to the tie-breaker in New Orleans' favour.
