The Utah Jazz have announced that they have appointed Atlanta Hawks assistant coach Quin Snyder as their new head coach.
The 47-year-old has agreed a three-year contract with the Northwest Division side, who parted company with Tyrone Corbin at the end of the 2013-14 regular season.
In a statement released by the team, Snyder said: "The opportunity to join the Utah Jazz and to be part of such a highly-respected franchise with an incredibly bright future is a great honour.
"I approach this opportunity with gratitude and humility and am committed to doing everything I can to help the Jazz become a championship-calibre team."
The Jazz have reached the playoffs just once in the last four seasons, finishing their most recent campaign with a 25-57 record.
