Kenny Bayless will be the man in the middle for the welterweight contest between Floyd Mayweather Jr and Manny Pacquiao on May 2.
The 64-year-old, who refereed Mayweather Jr's win over Marcos Maidana in September, hails from Nevada and has officiated in world title matches for almost 15 years.
Bayless has been in charge of four of Mayweather's last 10 outings, while he is even more familiar to Pacquiao after being the referee in six of the Filipino's last 14 matches.
The fight in Las Vegas will be the most lucrative encounter in the history of the sport.
