Kell Brook has said that he is "ready for war" in his IBF welterweight title eliminator against Vyacheslav Senchenko in Sheffield this evening.
The 27-year-old - unbeaten in 30 bouts - weighed in just a couple of ounces shy of the 147 limit, as did the 36-year-old Ukrainian, who is the former WBA champion.
Brook said that he felt the intensity of Senchenko when they squared off on the scales but is confident in his own preparation and vowed to 'chop him down like a tree'.
"I can tell that he wants it, I know that I'm in for a tough fight," he told Sky Sports News. "I know that he's trained and he's ready for it. I'm just happy with how I've prepared, I'm ready for war.
"He's tall, he uses his range well. He's been there, he's got the t-shirt, he's been a champion and boxed at that level, so I expect him to box out of his skin. He's a great champion so he's going to give it his all.
"I've definitely got to go for a knockout. He's taller than me so he's going to get chopped down like a tree baby, I'm coming for him!"
Devon Alexander, the current IBF champion, takes on Shawn Porter in a title fight on November 30.
