Carl Froch has admitted that boxing titles "don't mean shit" when he squares off against Mikkel Kessler on Saturday, May 25.
The Nottingham fighter goes head to head with the Dane in a unification bout, with the IBF and WBC super-middleweight titles at stake.
The clash is a rematch of their April 2010 epic and Froch has claimed that the titles will have little relevance to either fighter on the night.
"The titles, really I shouldn't say this, but they don't mean shit," Froch told BoxingNewsOnline.
"The fight is about two warriors getting it on. We are two equally-matched fighters at the top of our game.
"This is the biggest fight of my career. I could happily retire tomorrow but it means more than anything in my career to avenge my defeat.
"I don't know how I'll take this is I get beat. I don't even want to think about the 'L' word, I really don't."
Froch vs. Kessler will take place at the O2 Arena in London.
