Lee Selby: 'I will need to be at my best against Evgeny Gradovich'

Welsh featherweight Lee Selby believes that he will need to be at his best in order to dethrone IBF featherweight champion Evgeny Gradovich at the O2 Arena next weekend.

Welsh featherweight Lee Selby has revealed that he holds no fear in competing against unbeaten IBF featherweight champion Evgeny Gradovich next weekend.

Selby has won the British, Commonwealth and European titles during his 21-fight career, and he believes that he will add the world crown to his collection providing that he performs to his best against the Russian at the O2 Arena.

The 28-year-old told Sky Sports News: "I'm going to have to be at the best of my game, but I have beaten four of five unbeaten fighters before so it won't be anything new.

"If I can box to the best of my ability, I am fully confident that I will become a world champion next week."

Selby's last fight - a ninth-round stoppage of Joel Brunker in October - also came at the O2 Arena.
