Anthony Joshua has extended his undefeated record to 14 fights by stopping Gary Cornish in the first round of their bout at the O2 Arena in London.

It was another dominant performance from the Olympic super-heavyweight champion, who claimed the Commonwealth title after the referee was forced to stop the fight inside 90 seconds.
Cornish headed into the bout having won all 21 of his previous professional fights, but much like Joshua's 13 opponents in the last two years, the Scot was unable to provide an answer to the 25-year-old's pace and power.

Joshua needed just 40 seconds to send his rival to the floor and the referee did not hesitate to step in when Cornish was sent down for the second time a few moments later.
As the Watford-born heavyweight continues his meteoric rise in the professional ranks, a December 12 meeting for the British belt with Dillian Whyte, who recorded his 16th successive win by stopping Brian Minto earlier in the evening, has been confirmed.
