Cricket Australia have confirmed that Shane Watson will return to India in time for the fourth Test match against India in Delhi.
The 31-year-old was one of four players axed for the third Test for not returning a questionnaire aimed at improving the team's performance on the sub-continent.
India are 2-0 up in the four-match series and look on course to wrap up victory in Mohali, with the tourists currently 79 runs ahead on day five, but struggling on 178-8.
Watson chose to return home with his wife expecting their first child, but revealed that he was "weighing up" his international future.
However, a statement on Cricket Australia's website read that he will fly out to India today in order to take part in the final Test, which starts on Friday.
