Matt Prior was forced to leave the field with illness during England's tour match in Ahmedabad this morning.
The Sussex wicket-keeper made a quickfire 41 in the morning as England finished on 521-9, but struggled through the afternoon session with a stomach bug.
Due to the position of the match - England have a commanding lead of 349 - the umpires and the Indian Cricket Board granted special dispensation for Jonny Bairstow to step in behind the stumps after tea.
In normal circumstances, substitute wicket-keepers would not be allowed, but the decision was made for Prior to leave the field to "stop the illness from spreading".
