Yorkshire re-sign Kane Williamson

County Championship side Yorkshire secure the services of New Zealand international Kane Williamson for a third time.

New Zealand international Kane Williamson has agreed to spend a third spell with County Championship champions Yorkshire.

The 25-year-old, who is regarded by many to be one of the best batsmen in the world at present, will arrive at Headingley on June 9 and then leave on July 11.

During that time, Williamson will be available to feature in three County Championship matches, eight T20 Blast games and three Royal London One-Day Cup encounters.

"We are delighted to welcome Kane back to Headingley. He is a quality player and person," head coach Jason Gillespie told the club's official website.

"The opportunity to secure one of, if not, the best players in the world is one you have to take up. His value as a player is beyond question. His attitude, work ethic and leadership as an overseas player is brilliant."

Williamson scored 2,633 runs for the Kiwis in 2015 across all three formats, including eight centuries.
