Nottinghamshire paceman Luke Fletcher has signed a new three-year deal with the club.
The 22-year-old has taken 29 wickets in the County Championship so far this season.
"We've seen a steady improvement from Luke ever since he broke into the team and now he needs to make the transition to become a senior player in our ranks," Notts director of cricket Mike Newell told the club's official website.
"He has played very well this season and caused problems for a number of accomplished batsmen. He has proved effective with the new ball and he's earned this contract on merit."
Fletcher made his Notts debut in 2008 against Oxford University.
