South Africa paceman Dale Steyn has admitted that he wants his bowling speed to do the talking and scare the England batsmen during the three-match Test series.
Steyn is ranked as the number one bowler in the ICC Test rankings and he wants to prove this by leading the Proteas attack with his ferocious fast bowling.
"I'm trying to be the fastest bowler South Africa has when we walk out on to the field - that's my job," Sky Sports News quotes Steyn as saying.
"I think there's times when I can bowl as quick as anybody in the world, but I just want to take wickets - and I want to scare people.
"I try and let the ball do most of the talking."
The first Test gets underway on Thursday at the Oval.
