Glamorgan were sent in to bat first and produced a strong opening partnership of 59 before James Allenby was bowled by Will Beer for 24.

Mark Wallace came in to make just three, with his dismissal sparking a mini-collapse of three wickets for just nine runs.

Murray Goodwin steadied the ship with a 50 partnership with Jacques Rudolph, but they both went in quick succession for 35 and 62 respectively, leaving Glamorgan 132-6.

Lewis Hatchett claimed the wickets of both Ben Wright (5) and Andrew Salter (10) before Glamorgan's time at the crease was over, with the eventual target being set at 152 to win.

Sussex didn't get off to the best start in their run chase, with Chris Nash (11) and Luke Wells (1) being sent back to the pavilion within four overs.

Luke Wright was the main danger as he made 66 before Salter got his wicket, while Craig Cachopa (24) and Matt Machan (33 not out) also contributed decent knocks.

It was Machan and Beer who were out in the middle for the winning runs as Sussex ended on 153 to pick up the points.
