Great Britain's Paralympic cyclist Shaun McKeown has missed out on a medal for the host nation after finishing sixth in the men's individual C3 time trial.
The British hopeful finished the course at Brands Hatch in 24:44.37, which was not enough to rival the times of the top three riders.
David Nicholas of Australia edged to the top of the pile with a time of 23:22.13, which was enough to take home the gold medal.
The USA's representative Joseph Berenyi picked up the silver medal after finishing the trial in 23:31.73, while Japan's Fujita Masaki completed the podium places with a bronze-worthy time of 23:55.54.
