Phil Taylor cruised into the third round of the PDC World Championship after thumping Mark Webster 4-0 to remain on track for a 17th title.
The 16-time champion barely broke sweat as he swept aside the Welshman with a three-dart average of 101.92 to set up a clash with Belgian Kim Huybrechts in the next stage.
Things proved a little trickier for two-time champ Adrian Lewis, however, as 'Jackpot' edged out Keegan Brown 4-2 in a thrilling affair at Alexandra Palace.
Lewis, who won the title in 2011 and 2012, was forced to show his mettle early on as the 22-year-old Keegan snatched the first set with a 122 checkout. With the duo level at two legs apiece in the second set, Lewis then produced a fine 11-dart leg in the fifth game to restore parity.
Brown swiftly moved into a 2-1 lead in sets, but the cream rose to the top as Lewis levelled up once more, before taking the remaining sets to secure his passage.
Dean Winstanley - a former runner-up in the BDO equivalent of the tournament - also progressed with a 4-2 win as he edged out Darren Webster to set up a third-round clash with Max Hopp or Vincent van der Voort.
