Luke Humphries and Luke Littler learn who they will play at the 2025 PDC World Championship after the draw was made on Monday evening.

Luke Humphries will begin the defence of his PDC World Championship crown with a tie against either Thibault Tricole or Joe Comito.

On the back of his Player Championship Finals success on Sunday, the world number one is looking to secure his second successive crown at Alexandra Palace.

Standing in his way in the second round will either be Tricole, a former WDF World Championship runner-up, or debutant Comito of Australia.

Meanwhile, Luke Littler, who Humphries beat in last year's final, will square off against either Ryan Meikle or Fallon Sherrock.

The 17-year-old is a potential semi-final opponent for Humphries with the pair seeded one and four respectively.

Michael van Gerwen will meet either debutant James Hurrell or Canada's Jim Long, while Michael Smith goes up against either Kevin Doets - his opponent in the second round last year - or Noa-Lynn van Leuven.

World Grand Prix winner Mike de Decker could meet Luke Woodhouse in what would be one of the ties of the second round, the latter first needing to get past Lourence Ilagan.

Former champion Gerwyn Price faces the prospect of a showdown with either Kim Huybrechts or Keane Barry, with another ex-champion Rob Cross playing one of Scott Williams - a semi-finalist from last year - or Niko Springer.

The tournament gets underway on December 15.
