Raymond van Barneveld has thrashed youngster Rowby-John Rodriguez 3-0 in sets to ease through to the second round of the World Championships.
The Dutchman barely broke sweat as 'Barney' brushed aside the 20-year-old Austrian in a dominant display that included a maximum 170 checkout.
Elsewhere, Northern Irishman Brendan Dolan also cruised into the next round with a whitewash victory over Nolan Arendse - who earlier beat Alex Hon in the preliminary.
Dolan will face Michael Smith in the next round as the youngster - who eliminated 16-time champion Phil Taylor last year - beat Mensur Suljovic 3-1.
Jamie Caven, meanwhile, survived a scare to also seal his place in the next phase after narrowly beating Jason Hogg 3-2.
