Scott Waites surged past plucky underdog Richie George this afternoon to qualify for his first BDO World Championship final.
The bookies' favourite took no prisoners from the outset, winning 12 consecutive legs to race into a four-set lead.
George, son of former Lakeside finalist Bobby George, hit back in the fifth set to keep his slim chances of a comeback alive.
Waites stayed ruthless to close out the match by six sets to one and end George's fairytale run on his debut at Frimley Green.
Tony O'Shea or Wesley Harms await Waites in the final, with the pair due to meet in the second semi-final later today.
