Arsenal are reportedly prepared to hand Aaron Ramsdale a new contract at the Emirates, with an agreement between the club and the player said to be close.
The England international has been an ever-present for the Gunners this season as they fight Manchester City in the Premier League title race, earning 12 clean sheets in 34 matches so far.
Having joined from Sheffield United in August 2021, the 24-year-old has proven himself at the North London club during his 74 appearances to date, being part of a revitalised Arsenal side under Mikel Arteta.
According to Football.London, Arsenal are close to agreeing a new contract with Ramsdale which would commit his long-term future to the club.
The report also adds that Bukayo Saka is also close to accepting new terms at the Emirates, with Arteta keen to keep the youthful core of a side who have exceeded all expectations this campaign.
Arsenal face a massive test of their title credentials when they travel to St James' Park to face Newcastle United on Sunday afternoon, when Arteta will be looking to avoid a repeat of their result in the North-East last season.
