Alex McLeish has revealed that Aston Villa are considering a move for out-of-contract goalkeeper Marian Kello.
The Slovakia international is a free agent following his early release from Hearts and McLeish has admitted that he is one of several stoppers on the Villa radar, should Brad Guzan decide to leave the club.
"We have looked at a lot of goalkeepers in case Brad decides to leave us. We have looked at some potential number twos," said McLeish in the Express & Star.
"I think we are looking at [Kello's] situation but it doesn't mean we are signing him as we are looking at a number of goalkeepers.
"We will try and take goalkeepers on trial if we can first and foremost if Brad tells us he doesn't want to stay."
Kello spent three years at Tynecastle before his release last year.
