Atletico Madrid defender Juanfran has said that he is confident his team will launch a La Liga title challenge next season.
Diego Simeone's side lifted the Spanish crown at the end of the 2013-14 season, but struggled last term and eventually finished 16 points behind champions Barcelona in Spain's top flight.
Juanfran, however, believes that the Spanish giants are well equipped to challenge for silverware next term.
"I feel good physically and mentally and I'm confident that we're going to form an Atleti capable of becoming champions. The coach will get the best out of us," Juanfran told reporters.
Atletico finished just two points ahead of fifth-place Sevilla last season.
