The Dutch international's current contract with the German champions is due to expire at the end of the 2014-2015 season.

"Talks regarding a new deal for Arjen Robben are ongoing," Sammer told Kicker-Sportmagazin. "We are making some progress on it as both parties are keen to work out a new contract."
