Blackpool midfielder Jamie O'Hara has urged the club to invest in staff following their relegation from the Championship.
A disastrous season finished with the final game against Huddersfield Town being abandoned due to a protest against the club's owner Karl Oyston, and O'Hara believes that the only way to recover from such a big setback is to improve in areas off the pitch.
"A lot of things that have happened this season are things I have never experienced before, the 7-2 [defeat to Watford] and the last day of the season being abandoned," the club's player of the season told Sky Sports News.
"Having the boots in the back of my car and washing my own kit - the kit man left halfway through the season so a few people helped out doing the kit. But we just got on with it, you knew what the situation was and you had to get on with it.
"The way to build a club is from the inside and to build out, things like kit men, staff and all that are a massive part of a club and that needs to be right. If you want to build a club and be successful I think that is something that needs to be in place and that's the things that need to change there."
The Football League confirmed on Monday that the fixture with Huddersfield would not be replayed.
