Bolton Wanderers snatch draw at Yeovil Town

Yeovil Town and Bolton Wanderers share four goals in an exciting Championship game at Huish Park.

Yeovil Town and Bolton Wanderers shared four goals in an exciting Championship game at Huish Park, with the two struggling teams playing out a 2-2 draw.

The first chance of the contest fell to the away side when Alan Hutton's cross was blocked by Jamie McAllister, before Alex John-Baptiste headed wide from the resulting corner.

Hosts Yeovil took the lead in the 33rd minute when Kevin Dawson's cross was calmly converted by Ishmael Miller.

The Glovers then doubled their lead with just three minutes to go when Kieffer Moore and Tom Lawrence combined to set up Dawson, who slotted the ball past Adam Bogdan from just outside the area.

Lucas Jutkiewicz succeeded in pulling a goal back for the Trotters in the 53rd minute when he drilled the ball into the Yeovil net.

Towards the end of the second half, John-Baptiste was sent off for a professional foul in the penalty area, which also gifted the hosts a chance to score a third from the spot.

However, Miller struck the post with his effort and would soon come to rue his missed opportunity as Zat Knight pulled a goal back for Bolton just a few minutes later.

The draw, combined with other results, means that Yeovil are still in the relegation zone, a point from safety, while Bolton are in 17th place, nine points from the bottom three.
