Cardiff City captain Mark Hudson has said that Cardiff City's promotion to the Premier League is "the best moment" of his career.
Cardiff drew 0-0 with Charlton last night to seal promotion to the top flight for the first time in 53 years.
Although Hudson has been sidelined with an ankle injury since March, he has admitted that promotion to the Premier League is the highlight of his career.
"This is the best moment of my career," Hudson told the Daily Star.
"I'd have loved to have been out there in a shirt but it didn't quite happen for me but that is football. I have been there in the dressing room right up until kick off of every game. I still spoke in the dressing room and I stay in there until the team go out and I try to add my bit if I can.
"It is the best dressing room I have been involved in, every player has worked their socks off this year, whether they've been involved or not."
Cardiff City will join fellow Welsh side Swansea City in the top flight of English football.
