Antonio Conte: 'Small details cost Chelsea against Liverpool'

Chelsea manager Antonio Conte, whose side lost 2-1 against Liverpool on Friday, says that the Blues "must pay attention to details" if they are to be considered a good team.

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has claimed that lack of attention to details cost his side against Liverpool in Friday night's 2-1 defeat at Stamford Bridge.

The Blues found themselves two goals behind at the break and, despite Diego Costa halving the deficit on the hour, they were unable to get anything from the game.

Conte told Sky Sports News after the game: "To find a reason sometimes is easy, sometimes hard. The goals we concede are strange. We must feel the danger and today we didn't.

"We have to reflect a lot on this game because it is important to understand the situation if we don't want to repeat another bad season like last season.

"In the second half the pressure was good. We tried and played with intensity but you must pay attention to details if you want to think about a good team."

Chelsea remain third in the Premier League table, level on points with Everton and Liverpool.
