Former Celtic boss Neil Lennon could reportedly be confirmed as the new Hibernian manager later this week.
The 44-year-old underwent initial talks with the club last week, and those negotiations have continued over the past couple of days.
Lennon has been out of management since leaving Bolton Wanderers in March and revealed last month that he was close to returning to Celtic before they opted for Brendan Rodgers instead.
BBC Sport reports that a deal for him to take over at Easter Road could now be completed within the next few days, though, as Hibs look for a quick successor to Alan Stubbs ahead of their Europa League campaign, which starts on July 14.
Stubbs took over at Rotherham United recently after steering Hibs to their first Scottish Cup crown since 1902.
The club remain in the Scottish Championship, though, having missed out on promotion in the last two seasons.
