Southampton striker Che Adams is reportedly a January target for Championship side Leeds United.
The 23-year-old joined the Saints over the summer off the back of scoring 22 Championship goals for Birmingham City during the 2018-19 campaign.
Adams has found it difficult to make the transition into the Premier League, though, failing to score in any of his 12 top-flight appearances since arriving at St Mary's.
According to Football Insider, Nottingham Forest have recently tabled a loan offer for the centre-forward, but Leeds are also in the race ahead of the opening of the January window.
The report claims that the club's desire to strengthen their attack at the start of 2020 has led them to consider a move for a player who has scored 34 times in 116 appearances in the second tier of English football.
Marcelo Bielsa's side are currently second in the Championship table - two points off leaders West Bromwich Albion - ahead of Saturday's trip to sixth-placed Fulham.
