Report: Liverpool want Cristian Tello

A report claims that Liverpool want to sign Barcelona attacker Cristian Tello, who is currently in the second of a two-year loan at Porto.

Liverpool are reportedly interested in bringing Spanish attacker Cristian Tello to the Premier League.

The 24-year-old is still contracted to Barcelona, whom he has represented on 86 occasions in all competitions, but has been on loan at Portuguese side Porto since the summer of 2014.

As it stands, the Spain international will return to his parent club next summer and it is understood that he has no long-term future at Camp Nou, despite having a record of almost one goal every four games for the Spanish giants.

According to Fichajes.net, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is confident that the attacker would be available for a figure in the region of £11m.

Tello scored eight times in 37 appearances for Porto last season, but has not scored in seven league games for the club thus far this term.
