Rio Ferdinand will act as the honorary captain of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers when they take on the Chicago Bears in Sunday's NFL showdown at Wembley.
Manchester United owner Malcolm Glazer, who also owns a majority stake in the Buccaneers, will fly the defender to Wembley a matter of hours after United's derby against Manchester City to perform the coin toss.
"After the derby (going for the win) on Sunday, I'm going to Wembley to watch the Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. the Chicago Bears ... love me some NFL," Ferdinand wrote on Twitter.
United go into Sunday's game at Old Trafford in second place in the Premier League table, two points behind their local rivals.
