Thiago Motta "happy" at Paris Saint-Germain

Thiago Motta is likely to extend his stay at Paris Saint-Germain rather than move to Juventus, according to his agent.

Thiago Motta is happy at Paris Saint-Germain and is likely to extend his stay at the club, according to his agent.

The midfielder has starred for the Ligue 1 champions since moving to the French capital from Inter Milan, which has led to speculation that Serie A champions Juventus are keen on signing the Brazilian.

However, Alessandro Canovi believes that Motta is more likely to prolong his career at PSG than return to Italy.

"I think Thiago's happy in Paris," Canovi told Calcio News 24. "He has a contract which expires in 2015, but I know from a reliable source that the people running the club like him a lot and I don't think there will be a problem with a potential contract extension.

"In France, they call him 'The Boss'. He's a player who's happy where he is, but it's always nice to hear praise."
