Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo downplays transfer speculation

Real Madrid striker Cristiano Ronaldo dismisses reports linking him with a move to Paris Saint-Germain.

Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo has downplayed rumours linking him with a big-money move to Paris Saint-Germain.

The Portugal international dismissed the reports as "just speculation" and insisted that he is "very happy" in Spain.

"It is just speculation, it happens every year," he told Atresmedia.

"In a way people are used to this always happening around Cristiano. I am good, I feel good in a club that has helped me a lot since I arrived and I am very happy here."

Ronaldo scored four times during Real's 8-0 win over Malmo in the Champions League, taking his tally for the group stage of the competition to a record-breaking 11.
