Tottenham Hotspur will make a £26m bid for Barcelona midfielder Andre Gomes, according to a report.

Tottenham Hotspur will reportedly make a £26m bid for Barcelona midfielder Andre Gomes this summer.

Gomes has spent the 2018-19 campaign on loan at Everton, making 28 appearances for the Merseyside giants in all competitions.

Toffees boss Marco Silva recently said that he was hopeful of a permanent deal for the Portugal international.

However, according to AS, Tottenham are in the driving seat for the midfielder and the Champions League finalists will make a £26m offer when this summer's transfer window opens for business.

Gomes, who had to wait until October to make his Everton debut due to injury, has appeared on 78 occasions for Barca in all competitions following a 2016 move from Valencia.
