James Allison will reportedly contribute to Ferrari's bid to win the Chinese Grand Prix this weekend.

Following the sudden death of the Briton's wife Rebecca after the season opener in Australia, Allison was not in Bahrain.

Ferrari declared that they are "united with him and his family during this period of profound sorrow", amid reports that 48-year-old Allison was taking a break with his children in Britain.

However, Italian newspaper La Repubblica reports that Allison is in fact already back at work.
