Another ex-Formula 1 driver has aligned with Ralf Schumacher in expressing dissatisfaction with Gunther Steiner, the former boss of the Haas team.

Following his persistent critical remarks about his nephew Mick, Ralf, who has won six Grands Prix, recently declared his refusal to share the screen with Steiner, although they both serve as expert pundits for RTL.

Timo Glock, another ex-German F1 racer, has also voiced reservations about Steiner's direct communication approach.

"What can you say about Gunther Steiner? It's always a little difficult to understand the way he chooses to communicate," he commented during a Sky Deutschland interview.

Ralf Schumacher's patience wore thin particularly after Steiner publicly recommended against Alpine's potential signing of Mick Schumacher for the 2025 season.

"I wouldn't (recommend it) at the moment, no," Steiner advised. "You have to get the best drivers that are available. And there are drivers who have shown that they are very good."

Glock concurred with Ralf, suggesting that Steiner's continual critical comments were unnecessary.

"He should stop kicking him (Mick) again and again," the former Jordan and Toyota driver remarked. "What's the point of it? Maybe he should clean up his own mess," he added.

"If you look at Gunther Steiner's record as team boss, you have to have your doubts about that, too. Because at the moment, the Haas team is doing a very, very good job without him."

Glock was also critical of an Instagram post by Steiner where he sarcastically offered to lend his "tape measure" to Haas's new boss Ayao Komatsu following a double technical disqualification at Monaco.

"What's the point of that, too?" Glock queried. "I think he should have acted a bit more cleverly. But that's just typical Gunther Steiner."
