Europe's Ryder Cup captain Darren Clarke has selected Martin Kaymer, Lee Westwood and Thomas Pieters as his three wildcards.
Earlier this month, the nine automatic picks for next month's event were confirmed with five players scheduled to make their first appearance for the team at Hazeltine.
That has resulted in Clarke opting for the experience of Westwood and Kaymer, who have both contributed to Europe's dominance over USA over the past three contests.
Scotland's Russell Knox had been in line for selection but Clarke has selected Pieters after his excellent form during August.
After finishing in fourth place at the Olympics, he followed a second place at the Czech Masters with victory in the Made in Denmark tournament last weekend.
