Veteran Davis Love III carded a final-round 64 to clinch victory at the Wyndham Championship in North Carolina and end an eight-year drought on the PGA Tour.
The 51-year-old and one-time Major winner sank four birdies and two eagles to edge out Jason Gore by one stroke as he posted a winning score of 17-under-par.
Victory represented his first professional win since going all the way in the Children's Miracle Network Classic in November, 2008.
Charl Schwartzel, Paul Casey and Scott Brown finished one stroke behind Gore on 15-under.
Meanwhile, Tiger Woods, who needed a victory to guarantee himself a FedEx Cup playoff spot, ended an encouraging tournament on 13-under after shooting 70.
