It is all square between Europe and the US in the foursomes match between Lee Westwood and Francesco Molinari up against Jason Dufner and Zach Johnson.

Jason Dufner has drained a putt at the ninth hole to level up the third Ryder Cup foursomes match at the turn.

The Europeans took the lead after the very first hole, but Johnson holed a putt at the third to get it back on level terms.

Dufner missed a putt for par on the fourth green, while Westwood held his nerve to restore Europe's advantage.

However, the American atoned for his error at the ninth, as his putt seemed to stop at the edge of the hole for an eternity before dropping.

Despite that setback, Molinari's putter has been in fine form so far today, giving Europe real hope of a point by the end of 18 holes.
