World number one Rory McIlroy has a one-shot lead in the Dubai Desert Classic following a second-round 64.
The four-time Major winner, who sits 14-under, hit eight birdies, three of which came on the final three holes of the round, while Marc Warren resides one shot adrift after two bogeys hampered his chances of moving on top.
McIlroy's fellow Irishman Graeme McDowell has put himself in contention following a seven-under 65 round, which included just one dropped shot across the 18 holes.
Lee Westwood has fallen three shots off the pace with a four-under 68 round, while yesterday's leader Bernd Wiesberger has dropped to tied fifth.
