Colombian Jhonattan Vegas has produced a round of five-under to take a share of the lead at the Greenbrier Classic.
Vegas started the day on four-under, but displayed consistency on the course as he recorded five birdies to move through the field to move into contention to win the tournament at nine-under.
Scott Langley failed to extend his lead from the first day as he could only manage a one-under performance, making bogeys on the second and the 15th to tie with Vegas for the lead after the second round.
American Bryce Molder recorded the round of the day as he fired seven-under to move into joint third in a display which included eight birdies, although a bogey on the seventh prevented him from joining Vegas and Langley at the top of the leaderboard.
Meanwhile, Chad Collins, Danny Lee, Kevin Chappell, Greg Owen, David Hearn and Jonathan Byrd all finished the day in joint-third one shot off the pace on eight-under.
