Chelsea stars hand out Christmas gifts to sick children in hospital

Chelsea's first-team stars, including Diego Costa and John Terry, hand over Christmas gifts to a group of ill children in hospital during their annual trip.

Chelsea's first-team stars, including Diego Costa, visited a number of ill children in hospital to deliver some Christmas gifts.

Costa was joined by his teammates, including captain John Terry, Cesc Fabregas, Nemanja Matic and Ramires, on a trip to the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital on Monday.

Manager Jose Mourinho was also part of the travelling party as they happily posed for photos with the youngsters and handed out signed pictures and replica shirts.

Terry posted an image on Instagram of himself and his teammates with one young patient, and added the caption: "Honoured to meet some very Brave kids and family's today at the Chelsea & Westminster Hospital. Keep working hard with your rehab and pushing through your pain Blake. A huge THANK YOU to ALL our doctors and Nurses over the world who do an AMAZING job."
