Jose Mourinho 'upsets BT over Sky appearance'

BT is reportedly looking into its deal with network ambassador Jose Mourinho following his surprise appearance on Sky Sports.

BT Sport is reportedly examining its agreement with ambassador Jose Mourinho following the Chelsea manager's appearance on rival channel Sky Sports.

The Portuguese made a surprise appearance on Sky's Goals on Sunday show, producing headline-grabbing comments referring to the network's coverage of the Premier League leaders.

However, The Telegraph reports that BT has since closely scrutinised its agreement with the Blues coach.

It is thought that Mourinho's representatives have told BT that their client did not need approval before appearing on Sky Sports.

Mourinho's surprise appearance on the Sunday morning show came as BT's Fletch & Sav programme screened an exclusive interview with Paul Gascoigne.
