Former Liverpool striker Milan Baros has paid the wage bill at one of his former clubs.
The former Czech Republic international donated €40,000 (£32,500) to homeland club Banik Ostrava in order to help them pay their players.
Ostrava are currently facing severe financial problems and are battling to avoid declaring themselves bankrupt.
The Galatasaray hitman spent three years at the club before joining the Reds after making 77 appearances and scoring 23 goals.
Baros has previously spoken of his desire to end his career back in the Czech Republic.
